Hey there!
I’ve got an Asus prime x470-pro alongside with a ryzen from second generation. I need to upgrade my ram asap (I’m running a single stick at 2600mhz) and I’ve come across that the Asus QVL page shows different PDFs for different ryzen generations.
It confused me since I thought ram only depended on que motherboard.
So my question is, if I find the ram on the pdf from the 3rd or 5th gen of ryzen, and of course with compatible speed, will it run with my second generation cpu?
