hi, simple question that i don't remmeber the answer

i use ddr 333 in one of my comp, id like to purchase more memory for it

if i buy a ddr 400 will it still work? i think the setting will automatically lower to the lower frequency...

i won't glitch up my computer if i do this right?

yep pretty much, the 400 will scale back to 333. If you are worried it won't just force it to by changing the setting in your bios ;)

ohh yeh, and get some new RAM and a better system... ddr400 when 2gb DDR2 is so stinking cheap:

if you want my advice take the plunge and spend $500 on a new system, you can get alotta bang for buck nowadays. if you don't believe me have a look at some of the $500 build threads here on Tom's.
