Memory Compatible

I recently purchased a used mobo Asus P6T Deluxe, well that mobo was defective but i was able to salvage the memory Gskill ripjaw F3-12800CL9T 12GBRL. DDR- 1600 PC3-12800.

I was going to purchase the Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe, question is will the above ram work with this board, when i look at the QVL for this mobo I see GSkill 12800CL9D and CL9Q

I realize the appending T D and Q stand for tri dual and quad... The question I pose is because the ram i own was a tri channel kit hence the T designation, I cant see any reason it wouldnt however work in a dual channel board so long as i use 2 of the 3 sticks i own...

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. It the exact same RAM, they just didn't test the T variant.
