Hello,
I have this laptop running Windows 8.1 Pro (fully updated) with 8GB of RAM (2x4GB) (DDR3) (1333MHz).
I added the extra RAM about a year back, and I've never had problems with it.
Yesterday, I opened a .pdf file in adobe reader, and when I closed adobe reader, this error popped up:
"AcroRd32.exe - Application Error : The instruction at 0x705f2406 referenced memory at 0x705f2406. The memory could not be written."
I turned the computer off, and went to "SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS" in the BIOS menu.
Ran diagnostics for Memory and HDD, it took like 6 hours to complete, but both the tests passed.
I am using the computer for about three hours today, and I've NOT received any error yet.
I have opened the same PDF file in the same adobe reader like 20 times, but no errors any more.
Any idea why I got that error yesterday?
The error states the "instruction" location and the "referred" location are the same, both 0x705f2406. Could that have triggered the error?
