I just got a system built. Its a pretty budget rig atm my system keeps going into blue screen of death and dumping physical memory. I tried switching graphic cards and no luck at all. I first got it started and it worked fine for 3 days then it started having these problems. if anyone could help me narrow down my suspects it would be most appreciated.

My system.
AMD 3800 X2 (with the fan that was included in box set)
ECS K8T890 A ( not a board i wanted but it was a combo buy :)
Kingston KVR400/512R 512 PC3200 CL3 (not on the mobo's compatible list)
Linksys Wireless Network card 802.11G
Dont know the brand but Geforce 2TI
L&G 350W PS +12 at 12 volts and i think .8amps
120Gig Seagate ATA 133
52x48x24x CD-RW
56X CD-ROM
3.1 Floppy
I Updated to the most recent BIOS also

Splendid
I would say your a little weak on power.
Try this.
Take everything out of the computer that isnt needed to run it.
Use only 1 hard drive, 1 cd-rom, vid card and memory.
Leave all other drives and add-on cards out.
see if problem still persists.
Try a clean install with minimum hardware.

The blue screen says....
A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damages to your computer
If this is your first time you've seen this error screen restart your computer. if this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate diskspace. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates Disable BIOS Memory Options such as cachin or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components restart your computer F8 and blah blah blah

Tech Info on the blue screen
*** Stop: 0x0000007e (0x0000005 0xE161FBF0 0xF8876868 0xF8876564)
*** PCI.SYS -Address F853D0BF Base at F8536000, Datastamp 3b7d855c

I only have 1 PCI card and thats my Wireless adapter

Ok I disabled everything and it still gave me the blue screen. So I went back into BIOS and i turned of the ACPI or whatever its called and it started working and then my NTLR got corupt. So i Bootcfg /rebuild and while it was scaning for different Windows I got a different Blue screen it said about the same thing as the other one. but the differents was this one said Bad_pool_caller

I put the HD in a different comp to see if it was my HD going out. It works fine in another Comp no problems no error on the NTLR and it boots great

No i dont have an extra stick to test. I was thinking it was probably the Ram. Its not on the support list of my Motherboard.

the memory it supports at 512MB is:
Kingston D3208DL1T-5
Kingston KHX3500AK2

So i figured Kingston KVR400/512R would; thats probably my problem

google it and you should find a link that gives you some hints.

ok I did memtest I think this may be a new record i had 221,000+ errors
Test 5 4916
test 6 27555
test 7 didnt have a number must of registered to high :)
test 8 907

is there anything that would make it error that much without being the memory?
