PC Specs:
HP Z420 Workstation -
CPU: Intel XEON E5-2670
GPU: AMD RADEON HD 7470
RAM: 128GB Micron PC3L-1-600R-9-13-E2 MT36KSF2G72PZ-1G4E1HF (16GB x 8 slots)
SSD: 128GB Silicon Power 2.5" SSD
Received this Workstation with no CPU, RAM, GPU, Hard Drive.
Installed all of the parts listed above and changed the CMOS battery.
When I plugged in the Workstation, it immediately turned on - without pressing the power button.
First screens showed error code:
dimm 6 on cpu 0 experienced an error during training code ea02
I pressed F1 to continue booting, and the system went to the Windows 10 installation USB.
Process to install Windows was incredibly slow (as in, even clicking on something took a few seconds to register).
The system does seem to be working, but everything is very, very slow.
Windows 10 Pro is installing now, but this seems to be taking much longer than usual.
How can this be fixed? Is there a RAM slot that is damaged beyond repair?
