Question Memory error led on but computer still boots up

Hi, so my motherboards memory led is turning on. however, the computer is still booting up correctly. I also feel like this may be impacting my PCs preformance because all games I try to play on my pc run very slow and often lag

My specs:

Aorus B450 M

AMD Ryzen 3 2200g

Samsung EVO 860 500GB

ROG Strix AMD Radeon 570

EDIT: my PSU is a kingwin MK-750W

EDIT: would like to also add that my ram is Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz 2x8 16GB

is the ram running at 3000? turn on xmp/docp memory profile?

I would run Memtest86 or Memtest86+ and make sure one of the RAM sticks isn't faulty.

I’ve tried to turn that on so the ram will run at that speed. But when I open cpu-z, it shows the normal speed

They shouldn't be. The computer still ran at the slow speed when I used different RAM. It's just that there was no LED message. Also the system is showing 16GB of RAM installed

I just ran memtest and it’s showing both sticks are running at 2998MHz

Yeah they passed just fine

Have you tried loading the BIOS optimized default settings to see if that keeps it from staying lit?
I'd also check to be sure they are in the slots recommended in your MB manual.
