I’m getting ready to buy something like the following, but I’m not sure what memory to put in it –

CPU - AMD 3700X
MB – MSI MEG X570 Ace
Case – Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
(I have GPU, SSD’s HD’s, PSU etc. either new in a box or in my current system)

Memory?? – 32GB

This ADATA memory AX4U320038G16-DT60 is on the supported list and has decent reviews, but it comes in 2 x 8GB.

Can I just buy 2 ADATA kits for a total of 32GB or would I be better off buying different memory in 2 X 16GB? I guess the general question is, should you buy memory only in matched units?

My alternative is G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) F4-3200C14D-32GTZR.

You're going to be fine. In theory you can drop just about any ram out there so long as it conforms to the slot on the board. In your initial bootup, you should work with a pair(one kit), update the BIOS to the latest version then drop in the second kit just to make sure you're on optimal compatibility.
