And does anyone know if the G.Skill are Micron?

You wont be able to OC 2gb DIMMS very well.

With that in mind there aint much difference in speed in 4gig kits.

Good stuff.

I would ask ASUS what kits they recommend. Some mobos can be very picky.

While we are on the subject, does OCZ still not work with ASUS mobos? I seem to remember this being an issue a while ago.... is it still a problem

I own an Asus P5B Deluxe with 4*1GB OCZ Rev2 memory without any problems. Even better, my module are OCed to 833 at 4-4-4-12 without any lockup. I even played Prey for 6 straight hours the other day and everything was fine.

About chriskurk question, I'd go with Corsair at first look, but then again, I'd also avoid Corsair with C2D. The thing is that the guy at my cpu store, Microbytes, told me that Corsair memory stick don't work very well with C2D cpu. They had a truck load of returns of Corsair XMS2 module from owner of C2D. Most of the problems involved only one of the 2 memory stick being used under Windows. So your 4GB od memory might very well come up as only 2 under Windows. Like he said, it's not all buyers that have that problems, but it's way more then any other company. For that reason I would in reality go with G-Skill.

Before I go, I didn't see that posted anywhere elses, so this guys might very well just have got a "bad production day" of Corsair module in it's store, so from there was the problems.
