Hello everyone. I hope I am posting this in the right area of tom's.

I am building a gaming PC and have bought most of the components. I have yet to get a CPU cooler or RAM but this is what I have so far:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($129.37 @ Newegg)
Hard Drive: Seagate Momentu 500GB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($89.98 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB Video Card ($116.97 @ Newegg)
Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Monitor: Asus VS228H-P 21.5" Monitor ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $796.28
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

I plan on doing some overclocking and am wondering what my best options might be for memory modules. Any help or advice is appreciated. And thanks in advance!

And it fits with large cooler.

hey, thanks! that RAM looks great.

looking on pcpartpicker.com there are "ripjaw" and "sniper" series.. is there any difference other than the heatsinks?

I am not sure if I will want or need it but I assume that if I eventually want 16 GB of RAM I can get two more sticks in the fall?

Should I worry about them going out of stock? Should I buy all 4 at once for any particular reason?

It looks like now my only worry is a CPU cooler

I'd recommend DDR3-1600. 1.5v.

The video card you chose is pretty weak for that computer. You'll need something more powerful if you plan to play newer games at 1080p.

The psu is major overkill. A 400w psu would be sufficient for that setup. If you go with a HD7850/70 or better I would recommend a 500w psu.

However at that price I'd probably stick with the 650w. Tigerdirect has a slightly better deal with rebate and free flash drive
