Memory frequency is slow

I'm running EVGA X58 SLI3 mb, I7 950 3.07ghz, 3 sticks of Corsair XMS3 4 GB 1333MHz PC3-10666 240-pin DDR3 Memory. I started with 2 sticks of memory running at 10.66mhz. I added a third stick but the frequency is still at 10.66. Why did it not automatically start running at 13.333mhz. I'm a total noob when it comes to overclocking, etc. and would very much appreciate some wise advice.
