[Memory] Gigabyte p35-DS4 running 1066mhz ram at 800mhz

I've tried everything but i cant get my P35-DS4 mobo to run my ram at 1066mhz.

the ram i have is DDR2 2GB Geil Ultra 1066MHz Dual Channel DDR2 Kit.

if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!
