Memory Kit for my Motherboard!!!

hello everyone, so I bought a Asus Maximus VIII Hero and im looking for ram, can I just get any DDR4 ram? or do I have to go by compatibility? ever kit I try to chose is not compatible according to this:http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/MAXIMUS_VIII_HERO/4L-DRAM_QVL_table_0615.pdf?_ga=1.176124704.383681999.1480091358

They list only what they tested but any memory within the parameters of listed ones should work.
