It sure is a nice argument for going Raptor Lake (with DDR5), whereas current AM5 MBs support "only" up to around 6600 (OC). And if the price is a concern, quite cheap DDR5 is on the market (single-stick, 8GB, 4800), which can be used as a stopgap solution to get a DDR5 rig going sooner than later (likewise if thinking about an AM5 rig).

AMD managed to get their IF running at 3000 which makes 6000 the sweet spot for their7000 CPUs, is there any indication that Intel will benefit from faster memory?

Edit Having watched 8Pack review it seems a best faster memory adds about 1-2%.
