A week ago, my computer froze when unplugging my headphones. I had to reset my pc but then I had no display...

After a few hours of testing, I discovered that my pc only worked correctly with 1 stick of ram. I've tested both sticks separately with memtest and no errors but when using both of them together I got lots of errors. I tried all the slot combinations possible. 1-2 1-3 2-3...

A day or so later, my computer did start with 2 sticks but I've been getting bsod's since then. When I use only one stick, no matter which one, my computer works perfectly. I've already replaced my mobo and tested my ram in another computer so those should be working fine.

Anybody an idea what the problem could be? I'm running out of ideas...

Btw Ive also tested my gpu, reinstalled windows, cleared cmos, updated the bios, ...

Windows 10 pro
MSI Gtx 1070 gaming x
I7 6700k
Asrock z170 extreme4
Corsair 16 gb ddr4 2400 kit

Because you already got the new MB, I think nobody will know what happened. Maybe the memory slot has problem, or something else.
If your PC runs fine now with the same components except the MB, that means the old MB has problem.

Next time if you get the bsod error, you should use the bluescreenview to check the error, or go into the windows even viewer to check the error, because you will get the idea what caused the error from either way.
