Hello! I installed new memory kit in my PC and I noticed, that in AIDA64 and CPU-Z memory string shows only 1333 MHz instead of 2666 MHz. Is it OK? How it works, so there is only half of memory frequency?

And the second question is about manual settings. I think, that default frequencies from the box is enough for me, I dont want to overclock memory, if 1333MHz is normal instead of 2666MHz. Otherwise I want to set frequency to 2666. But what about memory voltage and other parametrs? Because for CPU, for example, it is needed to set CPU voltage manually even you arent going to increase CPU frecuency, because auto voltage from motherboard usually is too high. And it is better to reduce CPU voltage anyway. What about memory? Should I set something manually? (For now all settings is default, I changed nothing in BIOS). I heard, that you need to set frequencies and voltage manually in bios, because from the box all RAM works at lowest parametrs and you need to set normal parametrs manually. Is it true? Or you strongly recommend don't touch anything because all already set to ideal values?

Sorry for my English.

Double Data Rate, my friend. Just double the number in AIDA64, that will represent your real memory speed. Mine shows as 1800MHz, even though its 3600MHz. Thats normal. Dont worry.
