Memory match

Hello,
I have just purchased some secondhand 2x2gb corsair CM2X2048-6400C5. Sold as "matched" But notice one is ver 3.1 and the other is ver 4.2. Im wondering if this matters, I guess these are not matched and would apreciate any advice. should i return them. thanks steve

Yes. Sounds like they are not matched. If they work though, I wouldn't worry about it.

Now, I have some bad news. If your age is accurate, company rules (BestofMedia owns THG) state that you must be at least 13 to sign up.

I suggest you to get brand new memory ram as it is real cheap at the moment, there is no point in buying second hand ones.

If you post your hardware configuiration you can get better advice on your purchase.
