As you can see from the screenshot, it is recognizing only 2 out of 4 GB of RAM. I am not sure what happened but yeah.. any ideas?

Try cpuz, a free download, and see if it recognizes your new ram. Then update your windows experience index. Dell can be picky about ram, as the board bios has few (if any) adjustments for ram. Memory mapping should be enabled, but the dell board may not have it.

I downloaded CPU-Z and it did detect my 4GB of RAM, but i originally had 4GB of ram, my computer just crashed for some reason earlier on and it somehow only managed to recognize 2GB of RAM after it crashed.

Have you have ever re-arranged your modules Before, or installed any ram by your self? Cuz if you dont have your allocated module ports filled ( and have the modules in the over flow ports) then windows wont recognize them. Also how fast are the sticks ?
