Memory pc 3200 instead of pc 2700 on p4p800 mB

Hi all..
I'm planning to buy a P4P800 MB nowadays, i've now a 2.4Mhz P4 with 533 mHz
FSB.
The manuel says that DDR 400 in not compatible with the 533 FSB.
Is that means :
If I use DDR400 memory the system wont run OR
The system will recognise an use the DDR400 memory as a DDR333
ram?.

I'm prefering buying for the same price DDR400 instead of DDR333 in order to
upgrade the pross for the future FSB 800.

The DDR400 will work just fine, it will run at 320 not 333. Been there done
that.

It will be used as DDR333 instead of DDR400. Nothing to worry about,
it's actualy better since your new memory is certified for higher speed
you can use that and overclock your CPU
