Memory Prices

There was a lot of discussion on Memory Prices out there so I thought I would start a new thread.

So Does anyone know how much difference the Brand name of the memory makes. Because I found very cheap prices for hardware (including memory) at www.mwave.com (under Product catalog). Anyway it seems way cheaper than www.crucial.com.

It's more on performance and reliability. From Crucial, you will know exactly what you're getting. Many a time, it can easily be overclocked. If the generic RAM is compatible with your system, and at the same time, performs up to your expectations, then it's basically fine.
