Memory problems on a Gigabyte DS3L, GSkill RAM

Hey all,
So I ran memtest but it spit out results that didnt make sense, I dont think it worked correctly. Im working on getting another diagnostic tool but all signs point to a bad memory module. I have 2x1gb of gskill, and I'm wondering if this could possibly be a voltage issue? How would I adjust this?

while its running - should give info like cpu details, address, type of test, pattern, pass etc and Failures will be listed underneath.

It looked like those screens for a sec then it displayed something and I couldn't decipher it.. It looked like results but the results it came up with couldn't be right..

To me it sounds like the user is faulty! hehe...
Do you even use the specified voltage at their specified speed???

Ok I messed with memtest and now it displays the results and its just a crap load of red errors scrolling down the screen, so im assuming my RAM is baaad. So do I just manually remove a stick and repeat to find out which one is faulty? Also with NewEgg do you know if I RMA them together or can I just send in the 1?
Could the voltage specs be doing this darkguset?

Don't recall seeing Gskill on the approved memory list for that board. http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/FileList/MemorySupport/motherboard_memory_ga-p35-ds3l_1.0.pdf

For that matter, never really heard any thing good about Gskill either.

I have 2GB of G-Skill DDR2-800 running on a similar board (the DS3) and it runs perfectly even with my FSB overclocked to 429mhz.

Check your memory voltages in the BIOS. I found the motherboard was supplying too much voltage to my memory by default. I had to manually set it to 1.9V, which was G-Skill's specified voltage.

If you end up RMAing the memory you'll need to send both sticks back, if you bought the memory as a kit.

the voltage was only .1 off, and it still gives me errors, looks like rma for me ;(

Increase it to 2.1V and retry. Read on the box what they warranty it up to. My G.Skill is up to 2.2V and i run it at 2.275V

Don't trust your mobo on accurate readings on the voltage. You set it at 1.8V and it might give out 1.76V, hence memory errors. Give it the 2.1V test and it should be fine. Well within the limits and much above minimum threshold for errors.

PS: If you damage your memory by doing something stupid i will not be held responsible. If you don't know what you are doing just RMA the damn thing.

Exactly my point! It starts from 1.8V... what is your setting in the BIOS? Take it up to 2.0V. If it still doesn't work then RMA it.

My G.Skill (Red CAS5, DDR2 800) runs 825Mhz at 1.9 Vcore and 800 at 1.8 just fine. You may have bad sticks, but I'm not sure that is the case.
