I recently replaced my CPU and since then my computer just continues to beep when I try and start it. I have checked with my motherboard guide and it stated it was a memory problem. So I looked across plenty of post and tried everything from enabling xmp to switching ram slots. If I just use one ram stick everything works fine but when I put both back in the computer won’t boot and starts beeping again.
I did manage to change a few more memory setting and the computer worked perfectly fine for my daily use and school work, but when I went to play a game tonight my frames were terribly low and cpu usage extremely high so I proceed to reset back to bios defaults and just use one ram stick and I’m getting normal performance again. I would really like to know if there is something I can do to use both stick again they were working fine before I replaced cpu.
