I haven't got my memory yet and have been eyeing corsair xms 2gb to overclock with. Is this my best choice for this board or should i be looking at something else
I don't think its worth the trouble. I have an A8N32-SLI Deluxe board in two of my computers and while they both work fine with Corsair XMS PC3200 ram, neither will except the Pro line series from Corsair. I have tried the PC3200C2 Pro and the PC3500LL Pro and both of them had problems, failing with Memtest86 and CheckIt Diagnostics. They also would not handle 3DMark06 at overclocked speeds without failure.
Reverting back to the plain XMS ram resolved the troubles I was facing. I now think that there is an incompatability problem between the ram and the A9N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I installed some OCZ Platinum ram in one of the computers and it has worked so far, but overclocking even that ram very much remains a problem.
