Memory question being asked

Ok I'm pretty sure I know the answer but, I want to make sure. I have a Asus P5 KPL maximum FSB is 1333mhz so memory clock speed is 667mhz. I found the amount and basic configuration I need with 1 problem. The memory is 2x2gb clock speed is 800mhz. Will the faster memory work at lower speeds? Thx guys

All else being equal, and with the BIOS set to run on AUTO, the faster memory should be down-clocked automatically to 1333 MHz to match the systems' normal operating frequency.
