Memory question for a win 7 64 bit pc

I increased the RAM from 4000 to 8000.
The physical memory now looks like this:
Hardware reserved:4300
In use:3000
Modified:45
Standby:4300
Free:445.
Before the upgrade the hardware reserved was 200, now 4000. Is that ok? Is it affecting the performance, how do I fix?
Also the resource monitor at the bottom shows:
Available 4800, Cached 4300, Total 7900, Installed 12200. Why is installed 12000, should be 8000 no?

That is a little weird. Try a CMOS reset. You're manual should say how. Make sure the PC is unplugged when you do the reset however. It will also reset the system time, so you will have to set that again.
