Would there be a big difference between these two?

G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory

Since little price difference get this if the motherboard supports it. In the end does it have more bandwith and will be abit quicker.

Not really. They’re virtually identical.
DDR4-3200 CL16 has a real latency of 10ns.
DDR4-3600 CL18 has a real latency of 10ns.

But if they’re at the same price, I’d choose DDR4-3600.

That's alright, if you wait long enough might it be more expensive again so better make use of that price.

DDR4-3200 CL16 has a real latency of 10ns.
DDR4-3600 CL18 has a real latency of 10ns.

But if they’re at the same price, I’d choose DDR4-3600.

Real latency will be about 2-3ns better with the 3600mhz because of the faster infinity fabric.

Benchmarking, I get 68ns at 3600mhz c16 and 71ns at 3200mhz c14. The infinity fabric is over 10% faster at 3600mhz. 100mhz difference in infinity fabric equates to about 1.5ns in latency so 200mhz would be 3ns.

That’s interesting, because by the real latency formula calculation, DDR4-3600 CL16 should have a real latency of 8.88ns, while DDR4-3200 CL14 should have a real latency of 8.75ns.
Meaning that in this particular case DDR4-3200 should be the faster one.

Real latency calculation formula:
(CL : MT/s) x 2000 = Real Latency [ns]

Once it receives the memory command it's slightly faster but because the infinity fabric is over 10% faster at 1800mhz the RAM receives the request earlier and returns the result earlier.
