I have a friend who wanted to upgrade the RAM on his Acer Power FH.
He currently has two 1gb ram sticks (there are only 2 slots), and a 32-bit version of Vista, so I told him to get two 2gb sticks.
But the Acer site says it only supports "Up to 2 GB of DDR2 533/667 MHz SDRAM (dual-channel support on two DIMMs)"
I thought 32bit vista supported 4gb of memory, why would the site say only 2gb supported?? I thought max ram was only determined by the OS you were running, but is there some sort of hardware constraint also??
