Hey guys,
I'll cut to the chase. Recently I purchased a 8 GB stick of ddr 3 model: Kingston KVR16N11/8

My Mobo is an Asus H81M-K with 2 slots available for RAM. I exchanged one of my dual channel Gskill Ares (F3-1600C9S-4GAB)[strike][strike][/strike][/strike] with 4GB each with the one with 8GB. so far so good, windows starts normally, nothing special up until here. System identifies the 12GB in total.

The problem I encounter is that after a few minutes of playing any game (PUBG, Killing floor 2, They are Billions) the game would crash with no specific error. it is definitely a problem with the ram, because as soon as I put it back as it was with the 4GB stick (Gskill) I had no crashed whatsoever.
Before righting this thread, I did a 9 hour memtest86+ with 5 passes and 0 errors with both the 4GB Gskill stick and the 8GB kingston stick.

Before I return the Memory stick, am I missing something? is there a conflict between these 2 memory sticks?

Any suggestions?

My full specs:
i5 4460 3.2GHZ
(Working setup) 2x4GB Gskill Ares 1600mhz (as described above)
(Crashing Setup) 1x4GB Gskill Ares 1600mhz + 8GB kingston 1600Mhz
Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce 4GB
550W Antec
Asus H81M-K
1TB WD Blue

Thanks in advance!

You should only use the same sticks when using multiple sticks. Same gb, same frequency, same everything. Your best bet is either sticking with the old sticks or getting another one of that Kingston stick.
