[SOLVED] Memory refusing to work with XMP

I just got a second kit of 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V and things are going very poorly, I plopped it in the two empty slots on my motherboard (specs in signature), powers on as normal I setup XMP Profile, exactly what the memory is rated for, save. The computer turns on and off, not able to get back into BIOS. I had to reset the CMOS to get back in, strange part about it is it's only the first and third memory slots that do this and only with XMP, stock 2333MHz works fine. The other two work just fine with either kit at their rated speeds. Alone or together XMP will not work in those slots. I have tried configuring it manually and using MSI's 'Try it' pre-loaded memory profiles. I'm pretty stumped on this one, anyone have any incite?

This may be a motherboard limitation.
Taken from MSI's product FAQ:
-Due to its specs, AM4 platforms can't run the memories over 2933, and AXMP profile 1 is fixed on 3200, so you can manually change the frequency to 2933, or other wise the frequency will drop down the frequency to its native speed 2133.
They clearly work at 3200mhz in slots 2 and 4, but 1 and 3 are probably limited to 2933, so when you try and set them all to 3200, it bugs out, or something.
What would happen if you set all four at a lower speed, like 2666, or 2933?

As Phaaze88 said try setting the XMP profile but change the DRAM frequency to 2666 or 2800 or 2866 or 2933 and see if any of these lower speeds will work with all 4 RAM sticks.
PS
Only RAM sold together as a kit and listed on the QVL for your motherboard is guaranteed to run at it's full rated speed.
Most B450 and X470 motherboards do not support 4 stick kits at 3200 MHz.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I managed to get it to 2933MHz without something freaking out. After looking at the qualified memory it appears there are no 4x16GB 3200MHz kits, certainly not going with MSI again.
