Memory slots, use all 4 or just 2. Which is best?

Should I use 4 X 4G or 2 X 8G. Does it make a difference if I fill all four slots or 2? Does it affect the performance?

depends on the CPU, if its DUAL Channel then pick the 2x8GB. If its QUAD channel, which I really doubt, then use 4 sticks.
When installing the sticks check the motherboard manual for which slots to install them in.

I will go with the 2 X 8G. My mobo is dual channel.
