Memory Speed BSOD

I am working on a new home build. The specs are in my sig.

By default the BIOS picked the RAM speed up at 1066 but judging by the specs for the board and the RAM I think I should be able to run them @ 1600. Is this correct?

When I changed the speed in the BIOS to 1600 I get the BSOD while windows is loading. If I go back and set it to 1333 it loads fine and seems to be stable (did 12 min of push995 w/o issue).

Where am I going wrong? Is there another setting I need to change other than the memory frequency to get it to 1600mhz?
