Hi!
I have a rog strix b450f paired with gskill 3200c16gtzrx and 2700.
Asus website says the maximum supported ram is 3200(oc) but when I enabled DOCP I saw that I could set to higher speeds. I tried 3466 and 3600 with no issues but what I wanna know is if the memory is actually running faster or is the motherboard limiting the ram speed to 3200?

Thanks!

Download CPUz. It will tell you what your memory speeds are running at. Remember, DDR stands for double data rate. So if it says 1600mhz, you double that number. So 1600 would equal 3200. I can remember how CPUz shows the ram speeds, but if your numbers are below 2000, then double it to get the number.

Additionally, the website may say 3200mhz because originally when released that was what was supported, but bios updates may have improved support on a lot of b350 boards. That is why you may see high speeds in the bios.

Have you run Memtest86+ to be 100% sure it is stable?
I can get mine stable at 3400 MHz with my Ryzen 5 2600 OC'd to 3.95 GHz but when I OC my CPU to 4 GHz or higher I have to go back to 3333 MHz to keep my system fully stable.

PS
What BIOS version are you using?
I am using version 1201.

You can also use Memtest64:

And just a heads up I would NOT upgrade your BIOS until Asus fixes the bugs in version 2406.
I am using version 1201 because it has proven to be the most stable version for Ryzen 2000 series CPU's.
