Do memory speeds make that much of a difference? Right now I have 1333 RAM in my build and I'm wondering if its worth it to upgrade to 1600 or higher?

Again, hardly noticeable. Maybe a frame per second gain. Possibly two in the best case scenario? If you can notice the difference, visually, between 36 and 38 frames per second, more power to you.

Off topic - I'm running 2000 MHz on my LGA 1366 and the differences are 4~8+ FPS and when the choice is chop vs smooth then yep ya sure do notice the differences. Next, faster RAM SQL testing cuts-off 10~15 on a 1+ hour run.

There's GOOD 1333 CAS 7 and GOOD 2000 CAS 8/9 then there's all the other RAM in between. The quality of the IC is where the differences are between RAM.

Even 2133 MHz + SB has it's advantages. Gaming is the most common place where systems are stressed; the SB IMC is fixed {BCLK} whereas most anything this is not the case.

My point is/was to be careful with blanket statements.
