Question Memory speed stuck at 2133Mhz

Hey guys, my computer has felt very sluggish throughout the years I've had it. Recently I upgraded to 16GBs of ram, the only issue im facing is that its stuck at 2133mhz. Im running at 16384MB of memory.
/Specs/
Motherboard - Gigabyte B250M-HD3
CPU - Intel Core i5 7400 @3.00ghz 4 cores
GPU- GTX 1650 OC 4GB

This site has never failed to disappoint me hopefully I can get some helps from you guys

What exact RAM? Did you add another 8GB or did you buy a 16GB kit?

i have 2x8gb

But was it bought as a 2x8gb kit or separate sticks? Also what speed is it rated for?
