im using a ryzen 5 1600 cpu, I think the max supported memory speed is 2666 MHz, what if I overclocked the ram to 2933 MHz? would that be ok? or should I keep it at 2666 MHz?

Solution
Save your BIOS profile. Update to the latest BIOS. OC your RAM to 2933MHz. If you crash, increase the DRAM voltage to 1.3v or less. If you crash again, you will know it can't support it. You can also use XMP as a reference.

If your PC fails to boot up or enter BIOS, Turn off PSU (0), press case power button couple of times then keep it pressed for 30s. Turn on PSU and enter BIOS.
