I am about to extend my memory a bit and I was planning to buy another 4GB stick. However I'm not entirely sure if my choice would be compatible with the one I'm using. Could anybody provide some insight?

Currently using:
■ Kingston HyperX 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM Anniversary Series (KHX16C9X3/4)

Planning to buy:
■ Kingston HyperX FURY DDR3 4GB 1600MHz CL10 (HX316C10FW/4)

I'm not very familiar with technical side of things, however I have noticed in specs, that voltage and latency are different (1.65V CL9 and 1.50V CL10 respectively). Would they still work together efficiently? Or should I perhaps get another one (my original isn't available here anymore)?

ED1: I am using AMD platform's FX6300, since that apparently makes a difference.

Solution
Hi Artur,
Those memory modules might be able to work together on default settings running at DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9 @ 1.5V. They would more than likely not run in Dual Channel mode as they would be made with different components as well as your current memory supporting XMP and the new Fury memory supporting PnP. If they play together in default settings you may be able to manually set the timings with the DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-27 @ 1.65V XMP setting.
Generally, it is best to purchase a complete pair or set of memory that is identical to be sure they will work together.

Thank you for choosing Kingston HyperX as your upgrade partner!

Thank you for your answer. I would also like to ask whether ASRock 970+SB950 (Extreme 4) motherboard would technically be able to support HyperX Savage 2x4GB 1866MHz DDR3 CL9 (HX318C9SRK2/8). According to technical specification, the frequency is supported, however I've been unable to find this particular model on ASRock's memory compatibility list. I would like to make sure before purchasing the kit.

Thanks, I will post an update on how the system's doing once I get the new kit.

Hi sir, i would like to ask a question. I have a hyperx fury 8gb ddr4 3200mhz now and im planing to buy another 8gb same as the one i hve. It is compatible?
