Memory testing...

I just built myself a new Duron 800/Abit KT7 system, and I need help solving a boot-up problem. After my CPU is recognized, my RAM is recognized -- or it's supposed to be at least. It stops while recognizing the RAM, and the cursor pauses on the last digit of the amount of RAM present (although it is still blinking, so the comp didn't lock up). I'm too impatient/protective to wait and see if it ever fully recognizes
everything, so I posted this here as a break from my comp-building spree. So, what's the problem (if there is one)? The keyboard also doesn't work.

It basically just says:

Main Processor: AMD Duron(TM) 800mhz (100x8.0)
Memory Testing: 133457K

And the cursor blinks on the 7.

Oh!
And make sure you have the chips in the right slots (1,2 etc.)
It might matter. Make sure the chip with the largest RAM is in the first slot (e.g. 128MB in slot 1, 64MB slot 2 64MB slot 3 etc.)

Ensure all the chips are properly seated, and the tabs at either end pop up properly.
