Hi All

Ive been running my system overclocked for about 10months now and just noticed on CPUZ my memory timing have jumped from 4-4-4-12, to 5-6-6-17. They will no longer boot at the normal setting but mem test run with no errors, iam currently at 2.8gz ive had it up to 3.2 but reduced it to be safe 350 x 8 FSB. Iam running geil ultra pc6400 Cl4 2x512mb-2x1gb on a gigabyte DS3 rev1.0 f11 bios, now i know my memory was running at 4-4-4-12 when i first installed it but dont know how it changed any help guyz or ideas to get the mem back on speed.

Your memory timings is probably set on "auto" in the BIOS? If you set the timings manually you will be able to set it to 4-4-4-12.

Yes at last this bios f11 is slightly different from all the other bioses ive used on this mobo as in that it has two memory options option1-option2 with option1 being 4-4-4-12 this is the option i had selected but clocked the setting under this was set to auto, and as you suggested setting it to manual as got the mem back up to speed. Cheers cfvh600 for your reply i should of got on to that one myself felt like a plonker when i realized what i had done.
