I went from 1066 to 1600 and the only difference i had is with windows experience index went from 7.4 to 7.7 and no boot time difference, no difference in games.

The best is to get more memory at the cheapest price: go with 1333 X 8 gb instead of 4 gb of 1600

also get the same memory you will get problems (same timing, frequency and voltage) you don't have to buy memory kits, just so long it's the same brand and memory type
