Question Memory upgrade black screen boot loop

Hi guys! I tried installing new ram today 2x8 3200mhz and the pc after powering it on showed black screen and was boot looping. I tried reinstalling old stick of ram and the same thing happened. Be noted that the old stick of ram worked prior to upgrading. Can anybody please help me ?

Try doing cmos reset, check motherboard manual on how to do it, and prior to thay check if your ram blocks are sloted correctly and if they have any visible damage. In most cases doing a cmos reset can fix black screen boot after ram upgrade. One more important thing pull out the power cable and hold power button to ground all electricity from mobo prior to installing ram to avoid ram damage and errors.
