Current system:
i5-4690k cpu
Asrock Z97 Pro3 mobo
XFX RX 580 4GB gpu
EVGA G2 650w psu
Crucial - Ballistix Sport XT 8GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
For giggles I started thinking about upgrading memory, but prices still seem high. I use the PC for normal internet and online gaming (world of tanks, fortnite) and that's about it.
I want to stick with my blue color scheme...saw the Kingston HyperX Fury that OCs up to 1866. But, dang, 8GB = $60...ouch. Can't afford four of those.
Is it reasonable to expect a performance enhancement by going up to 32GB from my current 16GB and, if so, would I ever detect the increased performance?
