Question Memory upgrades for ASUS GL503VM

Hi all,

I would like some advice on a couple of memory upgrades for my GL503VM laptop.

Firstly, it has 8GB RAM already but I would like to install another 8GB. When I ran Speccy, it stated it was single channel CL17. So can I essentially add another CL17 module of any make into the spare slot and it will work?!

Secondly, I also want to upgrade the M.2 SSD. It currently has a 128GB one that came with it but I want to increase the speed and size and would like to know if you guys have any, not too pricey suggestions?

Thanks for the link, and i have been there before!

Will these modules work OK with whats installed on my laptop? Speccy doesn't state the RAM already installed, just - 8.00GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1196MHz (17-17-17-39).

Also, i should have been more specific with the storage, its an M.2 NVME i am after but Crucial doesn't seem to suggest any? I have seen the P1 been mentioned and it reviews fairly well but is it significantly better than what I have - 119GB SanDisk SD8SN8U128G1002 (SATA (SSD))?
