I own a Acer Aspire E1-571G, Windows 7 x64bits. Rundll32.exe seems to have quite a high memory usage and the laptop sometimes stutters even in applications that shouldn't affect its performance too high. I issued a scan and it said that "windows resource protection found a corrupt file but was unable to fix some of them".

I can run games smoothly with no problems for a period but after a time the computer act up on its own and start stuttering, gets back to normal, and after a while starts all over again. What do you guys think i should do? This is becoming quite stressfull.

Seems like issue with windows, you can do :
1. Reinstall Windows (without knowing problem)
2. Trying to fix the problem.

Run32.dll it can be anything.Corrupted windows files, virus, dunno if you are willing to do i suggest Windows update to disable First of all, restart pc and then see if problem persist.
If problem persists Update windows and see if problem persists.
Cant get any ideas now.

I had windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. In all of them i had the rundll32.exe problem, so that doesn't help... I'm starting to believe this might be a hardware problem. I'll try and do a disk check and see how that goes.

disk cleaner and SFC /scannow do nothing. Closing it only temporarily shuts it down because it comes back off... Is there a way a can remove it, shut it down completely or repair it?
