Question memory wrong way around

I putted the memory wrong in the pc (other pc) and started it.
now its beeps 3 times and is not able to start.
my dad says the motherboard is death because i started it with the memory card the wrong way around.

is it broken?

how to fix?

Going to need full details of all the hardware involved and a more detailed description of what actually happened. "Putting it wrong" isn't very specific and in truth, I'm not even positive what hardware you're talking about; at first I thought it was RAM until your reference to "memory card."
