My moms computer is an HP pavilion 750c. Pentium 4, 1.8ghz. MS XP pro version 2002, service pack 2.

It currently has two memory slots.

Each slot has a 256mb, ddr, 266 mhz, pc2100u-25330-B1 chip, for a total of 512 mb of ram.

I would like to increase the ram to the maximum.

She has lost her owners manual.

what's the maximum amount of ram that can be added in this scenario and specifically what are the chips numbers, so that I can buy them confidently? Thank you so much.
