My CPU has fsb of 1066mhz and my memory is supposed to to run at 1066mhz, but is running at 800mhz. I have noticed some cpu not doing well in futuremark tests and am wondering if it is bebecause the fsb and memory do not match.

You can use Antec's PSU calculator to determine if your PSU is powerful enough. Fans normally don't require much power.

Just checked and it may very well be the psu. it said required watts was 683 running at the 85% which is was the recommended setting

i checked something I should not have and the power is not the problem. this weekend i'll go with winxp and see if win 7 is the problem. If thats not it, i'll start to think there is a prob with the cpu

Just found in a forum how to use the drivers for vista in win 7. just had to set to vista compatibility mode. i'll try this first.

So you'll buy a new PSU?

I just wanted to let you know that it was the cpu not working with the motherboard. for some reason only one core was being used. I put my dual core back in and both cores are working fine. I am assuming there is a bios update needed, so i'll just have to wait for it.
