1) Check if your computer supports 4GB of RAM (from Acer)
2) Check how many DIMM slots total are in your computer:
a) If 4 total, then 2 should be full now; add 2x 1GB DDR2-800 DIMMs for a total of 4, but be sure to get good quality RAM (not OCZ) to minimize the chances of incompatibility. Something like this should be OK: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146118
b) If 2 slots total, you will need to remove your old RAM and replace it with 2x 2GB DDR2-800 DIMMs. Something like this should be OK: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146692

yeah could you tell me if these are ok

4GB (2GB x 2 KIT) DDR2 PC2-6400 800Mhz 240PIN DIMM

DDRII modules features faster speeds of up to 1066 MHz, higher data bandwidths, lower power consumption

by about 50 percent, and enhanced thermal performance versus DDRI ones.

DDRII modules can be used on desktops to improve overall performance!

*240-pin unbuffered DIMM
*Capacity: 4GB (2GB x 2 KIT)
*Maximum 6.4GB bandwidth
*JEDEC standard 1.8 + 0.1V power supply
*CAS Latency: 4
*4 Bank
*Off-chip driver (OCD) impedance adjustment on die termination (ODT)

• 240-Pin

Standard Double-Data-Rate-Two Synchronous

DRAMs (DDR2 SDRAM) with a single + 1.8 V (± 0.1 V) power supply

• Built with 1024-Mbit DDR2 SDRAMs in P-TFBGA-60 and P-TFBGA-84 chipsize packages

• Programmable CAS Latencies (3, 4 and 5), Burst Length (8 & 4) and Burst Type

• Auto Refresh (CBR) and Self Refresh

• All inputs and outputs SSTL_1.8 compatible

• Off-Chip Driver Impedance Adjustment (OCD) and On-Die Termination (ODT)

• Serial Presence Detect with E2PROM

• Dimensions (nominal): 30 mm high, 133.35 mm wide

It's hard to tell without knowing the brand name and model number, but your post suggests that it requires 1.9V instead of the standard 1.8V, which may cause problems.
