Memory_Management Blue Screen?

Hey guys, so I just built my new computer a week ago but recently I've been having lots and lots of blue screens. The most common blue screen is Memory_Management, I know because my computer just stays at the blue screen and doesn't shut off. I think thats a reason why im having driver blue screens and not being able to start my computer correctly, sometimes my computer can't find the appropriate Windows 7 files. I've right clicked manage on my computer and I don't seem to be missing any drivers. My DRAM voltage is on auto.

Make sure the memory you are using is running at its reccomended voltage and speed. Sometimes memory needs to be tweeked in the bios to get it working correctly.
Failing that i would run a MemTest over it to make sure none of the sticks are at fault.

You can find memtest at the link, burn it to CD and boot from that disk. It might take a little while to run but it will detect problems in your memory if there are any.

Yeah I boosted up the voltage a notch and i'm trying to run it now, i'll get back to you

ok it lasted for 3 hours and then it crashed. now i dont get any signal from my monitor, i think something went wrong with my videocard or something

nevermind I just pushed almost with all my strength and now i get a signal! alright ill have to restart and bump it up

alright well I just bumped my voltage to around 1.57? crashes? last time it was 1.56 and that was the 3 hour voltage.

ok so i boosted it from 1.57 to i think 1.59, keep in mine 1.57 made me crash so i dont think this is such a good idea but its not crashing on boot so ill get back to you

What are the rest of your system specifications?

Update: changed my frequency to 9-9-9-24-2N, It was originally 9-9-9-24-1N. Then I changed the voltage to auto but that seems to crash it. So now its on 1.56 which seemed the most stable

Do a windows memory scan.
If you ask me, you got a bad stick of ram.

ran memory dianostic and it says i have a memory problem and to contact my computer manufacturer -.-

It sounds like you have a bad memory module. Where did you buy the memory from and how long ago. If it was not that long ago i would send it back as if you are getting any errors in the windows memory diagnostic then its defiantly a bad stick. From now take one of the sticks out and see if it works, if not switch them round and it should work.

Yeah i would get in contact with newegg and get them sent back.

What I meant was that in the mean time you could remove the faulty memory stick from your computer (I am assuming there are 2 sticks of memory in your compter) and get up and running. To find out which memory stick is faulty remove one of them and try and boot, if you can't remove the other memory stick and replace the one you pulled out the first time. This will get you up and running in the mean time.

Its unlikely that both stick will be faulty, but you are probably going to have to send both of them back. You will be able to boot fine sometimes as they will cause the blue screen when they hit the affected areas of the memory.

Test with one stick of RAM at a time. Its unlikely both died at the same exact time.

hey is 520w power supply enough? Just switched my sticks around, plugged everything in and my dvi and keyboard are not working. No signal? This like always happens when I unplug my computer
