I got and old build from a dump. Asus proactive ai p5gd1 mobo. 600 watt psu 500 gb.
I tried installing windows 7 on it. I get memory_mnagement bsod no matter what (safe mode, etc). i tried swapping the gpu, that was not a sucess. i am at a loss of what to do. the first gpu was a geforge 560 ti and the second one is a mystery lol.

Solution
Well, one of the ways to do it is to run a live Linux distro and boot from an USB or CD/DVD. You could use this program https://www.linuxliveusb.com/ to download a distro, install it on USB or DVD and boot from it. It will run same way as if installed.
If there are 2 or more RAM sticks, use only one in every memory bus to see if anything's wrong with slots. Don't forget to reset CMOS/bios at every change.
If nothing works, chances are that RAM or one of them is gone bad but that could be checked only by plugging then in another, compatible computer and use a program like https://www.memtest86.com/
There's another but less likely possibility that processor has faulty memory controller.

How do I check them? I don't have any spares and Ram prices are out the roof.

I'll try that... But how do I use the memtest ui? You can include screenshots
