memtest is stuck

So I downloaded memtest86 the latest version here http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm to a usb, I boot it from usb, ran the program, but after a while the pass got stuck at 91% and test stuck at 16% it doesn't go any further. I'm using windows 8 pro am I doing something wrong here?

Also another question is there a difference between memtest86.com with memtest.org?

Yes I just build the rig like 2 days ago, i use ram in slot 1 and 3, should I maybe switch the ram in 3 into 1 and vice versa and run it again?

ram tends to fail either in the first week of usage of it will last years... that's why i asked.

Your motherboard manual will have instructions on which slots the 2 sticks should be installed to get dual channel operation.
In some motherboards you may have a choice, in others not.

Try testing your sticks, one at a time in the preferred slot.
You could also try testing a known good stick in each slot on the chance that you have a bad motherboard slot.

If you are running the ram at higher than default speeds, try running at the default.

In the end, I suspect you will find a defective kit that will need to be RMA'ed.
Be prepared to send in the whole kit for a replacement. Ram sticks must be matched by the factory.
